FAQ

The questions we get most often.

A short reference for clients evaluating drone services. If you don't see your question, send it via the contact form and we'll add it.

01

How much do drone services cost?

+

Most commercial missions range from $750 for a short photo/video site visit to $5,000+ for multi-day mapping and inspection engagements. We quote fixed scopes after a brief discovery call.

02

How long does a flight take?

+

Field time is typically 1–3 hours for most sites. Larger mapping or corridor missions can span a full day or be split across multiple days for weather windows.

03

Are you FAA certified and insured?

+

Yes. All pilots hold an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate. We carry $5M general aviation liability and issue additional insured certificates at no charge.

04

Do I need permission to fly over my property?

+

For most commercial work, we coordinate authorizations on your behalf — including controlled airspace, LAANC approvals, and any required notifications.

05

What happens if the weather changes?

+

We monitor conditions in the 24 hours leading up to every flight. If conditions go below safety minimums, we reschedule at no cost.

06

What deliverables do I receive?

+

Photography and video are delivered through a branded cloud portal. Mapping projects include orthomosaics, DEMs, and CAD/GIS exports. Inspections include a written PDF report with tagged findings.

07

Can you fly near airports?

+

Yes, with the proper LAANC or controlled-airspace authorization. We handle the paperwork and coordination as part of pre-flight planning.
